The commercial salmon season is now open from Point Arena & south. Rich and Laura expect to start fishing on May 18th, as Marine weather allows. We plan on staying close to home and servicing our community with every fish we bring in.

We have obtained permission from the Noyo Harbor Master to conduct our off-the-boat sales and have developed the following protocol to do our best to ensure everyone’s safety during these difficult times.
F/V Animal Fair COVID-19 Plan
The appointment system that the F/V Animal Fair has in place limits the number of appointments per hour to 8. We feel that we can safely manage 8 transactions per hour using the following protocol. We will adapt as necessary to comply with current regulations.
The F/V Animal Fair Crew will be wearing face masks and will sanitize as necessary between appointments. Hand sanitizer will be available at the boat.
Customers who plan on walking to the boat to pick up their order should limit their groups to two per household.
Six foot markers and strategies for maintaining a six foot distance will be laid out on the dock.
Only one group may approach the boat at a time as there is only one entrance/exit to our slip.
For improved safety, we have decided to accept credit cards this season
Curbside Service
We are happy to provide curbside service to anyone who would prefer not to venture down to the boat. There is a new option on the Salmon Order Form where you can select this free service. Simply call Laura at (707)972-6657 upon arrival and we will bring up your order as soon as possible. A sign with my phone number will be posted at the top of the dock. Customers planning on curbside service should plan on paying by check or credit card.
